KNM Helge Ingstad salvage work continues as weather improves

After a week of bad weather the Rambiz has returned to the salvage site where diving operations have restarted and will so reamin as long as the weather allows.

Work is ongoing tightening the lifting chains and pulling the final two chains under the vessel. The vessel was expected to be raised by latter half of January 2019, but this has has been delayed by adverse weather conditions and now relies on the wind and weather and their influence on the safety of divers and others involved.
