Jumbo’s HLV Fairmaster delivers Delivers Bridge Section to Allseas’ Pioneering Spirit – Video
Jumbo’s HLV Fairmaster arrived in the Port of Rotterdam early on a sunny morning with a 1350t bridge section on deck. The structure had been safely loaded with the ship’s own heavy lift cranes in Laem Chabang, Thailand for their client Aibel.
The bridge section measured 100.65 x 25.15 x 24.31 m and so the lengthy outreach of their cranes along with their lift capacity had been essential for this project. (Jumbo utilised the capacity of their vessel to the maximum, both in deck strength and in lifting capacity to prepare them for the loading challenge!)

Spot on preparation and open communication between all parties meant that discharging operations conducted by Allseas’ Pioneering Spirit went safely and according to plan. The discharge operations in Rotterdam took about 20 hours in total, allowing the Fairmaster and crew to sail away on schedule to the next heavy lift project.
