Jumbo-SAL-Alliance Deliver New Tukan Harbour Cranes to the Port of Haifa
The Jumbo-SAL-Alliance recently loaded three Ardelt Tukan cranes onto the MV Lisa in Bremen, Germany, for discharge in the port of Haifa, Israel. These cranes will enhance the port’s operations, providing improved lifting operations and port efficiency.

Dissembled into two parts each, the cranes total six units and weigh 1488t. With a maximum unit weight of 330t, including counterweights, the cargo occupies 30.256,23m³ cubic meters – equivalent to 10 Olympic-sized swimming pools.

When the shipment arrives in Haifa, MV Lisa, from the SAL fleet, will unload and assemble the cranes on the pier, installing the machine houses on the 22m high portals with her own cranes so that the port can put them to immediate use.

Thanks to the experienced engineers, whose pre-planning made this low clearance operation possible, and the customers for allowing us to transport these cranes.
