Jenkins Marine’s ‘Avon’ Dry Docking on Manor Marine Slipway

Manor Marine, an OEG Group company, has been contracted by Poole, Dorset based, Jenkins Marine, a leading supplier of dredging and workboat solutions, to provide slipway, repair and maintenance services for the 26mmulti-category vessel, ‘Avon’.

The scope of work on the Avon included slip and unslip, with four weeks on the slipway, wash off, painting, propellor change and replacement of the shaft seals. The shipyard’s two open slipways at Portland in Dorset, utilise slip trolleys capable of hauling vessels up to 40m in length, 350t in weight and with a beam of up to 20m.

Manor Marine’s extensive berthing and shipping facilities, along with their comprehensive range of services, enable the shipyard to undertake all manner of vessel repair and maintenance projects.
