Jan De Nul’s Les Alizés starts work on Debut Project

Jan De Nul’s Les Alizés has kicked off on her very first assignment, installing their first monopile on Ørsted’s Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms.

In total, Les Alizés will install 107 monopile foundations and one offshore substation topside.

The contract is an important milestone for Jan De Nul, as it is the maiden project for their new Next-Generation heavy lift vessel. It is their intention that the vessel will perform the installations in the most efficient and environmentally friendly way possible.
