HSC Launch the175t SCX1800A-3 Crawler Crane

Sumitomo Heavy Industries Construction Cranes Co., Ltd. (HSC) announced the launch of the crawler crane SCX1800A-3 with maximum 175-tonne lifting capacity that meets EU Stage V exhaust emission regulations, following on from the release of the 80t SCX800A-3 and the 100t SCX1000A-3 in December, 2021.

Al three new cranes are powered with a new-generation Cummins B6.7 engine that meets EU Stage V emission standards for the highest level of clean running performance, together with advanced control system (ECO winch mode, auto idle stop function) for energy-efficient operation.

Exhaust post-processing systems consist of a muffler filter and urea SCR. The preliminary stage muffler filter reduces PM, while the subsequent stage urea SCR cuts down on NOx emissions.

The SCX1800A-3 provides exceptional lifting capabilities with a compact body. Maximum main boom and crane jib combination is 75 m + 31 m, covering a wide working area to further streamline operations on worksites. A two-auxiliary sheave is also available to provide greater lifting performance, catering to increasingly diverse customer requirements. A 132 kN (13.5t) rated line pull winch is optionally available.
