Hollandia Infra Delivers A9 Motorway Southern Bridge Deck for the Schiphol Bridge at Badhoevedorp
Hollandia Infra have completed the Southern Bridge Deck for A9 motorway renovation at Schiphol.
It was lifted by the HeboLift10 sheerlegs crane at the Hollandia Infra quay in Krimpen aan den IJssel on to the Lastdrager 7 pontoon from the Van der Wees Watertransporten B.V. fleet for transport to its final destination.

To defy the complex shipping route with narrow passages and bridge passages, the deck was placed on the pontoon in an almost vertical incline.
This weekend the impressive bridge section arrived at the Badhoevedorp bridge site!
Upon arrival, the bridge deck was accurately lifted into place with the help of four mobile cranes. A fine example of cooperation and precision!
Hollandia Infra was commissioned by VeenIX for this work part of the A9BAHO project.
Together, they have built the new bridge ramps for the Schiphol Bridge as part of the widening of the A9 motorway project, carried out on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat.
The A9 will also have a sunken section, at Amstelveen which makes this project extra special.
The project has been proudly realized in collaboration with HEBO, Sarens and Van der Wees Watertransporten B.V.
