Heavy Lift PPE Aid for Fight Against Covid-19 in the Netherlands
This week we have seen Heavy Lift related companies in the Netherlands donating PPE gear to the emergency services in Groningen in the North East of the Netherlands and Zeeland in the South West.
Several Wagenborg companies have announced that they will donate FFP mouth masks, safety glasses and disposable coveralls for collection in their home city of Groningen. From here distribution can take place to hospitals, clinics, doctor’s practices, health services and municipal authorities in the North.
These FFP face masks offer professional protection against pathogens and airborne pollutants and thus also help against the corona virus. Wagenborg would like to do its bit to support public health and hopes that other companies will voluntarily follow the same example on a large scale.
Heerema companies, HFG – Fabrication Group and HMC – Marine Contractors, have donated protective suits and FFP3 face masks to the emergency services in Zeeland, in South West of the Netherlands.
In a statement released yesterday the companies said that they “appreciate emergency workers and all that they are doing for us across the globe. They are working round the clock to keep us safe, and we are trying to help where we can.”
These companies are two of many others who are helping in this fight against Covid-19. Please let us know if your company is also involved by mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks to all of you !
