Hareket’s Heavy Lift Transport from Iskenderun to Iraq

Hareket were recently responsible for the transport of 2 large towers and other freight from the Port of Iskenderun in Turkey to the Sulaimani Khor-Mor Gas Power Plant in Iraq .

The dimensions of the 2 towers were :

• Length 33.4m   and    34.5m
• Height   4m   and      4.1m

The 1400km journey was completed with 94 axle lines of hydraulic trailers, 30 lowbed trailers and 20 standard trucks, a total of 58 vehicles.

Arrangements were made in accordance with the passage of the route under the control of the permission protocols with the General Directorate of Highways and local administrations.

The operation was successfully completed by taking the necessary safety precautions.
