Goldhofer’s Cable Drum Transport Solution

This year, Goldhofer Transport Technology launched their new solution for the cable transportation and supporting the energy transition.
The new system gives their customers the opportunity to transport the biggest cable drums available today in different combinations and solves the task of unreeling the cable drums within these combinations.
The solution developed has two particular advantages:
- Easily mounted hydraulic support legs allow the bridge to be raised to loading area height under full load so that the module combination can be moved under it.
- This significantly reduces overall length for the last mile for increased manoeuvrability on all types of construction sites, especially in combination with self-propelled modules.
A solution that saves time, is more economic and prevents logistical challenges.
