Fr. Meyer’s Sohn Acquires Majority Stake in Project Logistics Company Breeze (Germany) GmbH

The Hamburg-based logistics company Fr. Meyer‘ Sohn has acquired the majority of shares in the Hamburg project logistics company BREEZE (Germany) GmbH.

BREEZE offers tailor-made transport and packaging concepts for industrial goods and enjoys an excellent reputation as a freight forwarding service provider.

“The participation fits perfectly into our existing network and is a very good complement to our global activities. The work on worldwide joint projects will be further expanded,” says Heiko Voigt, Managing Director of Fr. Meyer’s Sohn.

BREEZE will continue to be led by the founder, Mr. Hubertus Quasdorf, and the long-time employee and managing director, Mr. Fritz Ress.

The business will continue under the established name BREEZE. For customers and business partner, the usual contacts and services will remain, while at the same time new opportunities will open up through the expanded network and resources of Fr. Meyer’s Sohn.

Hubertus Quasdorf emphasizes: “For the Germany company, as well as for the companies already established in China, India, Mongolia, and Australia, new perspectives are now emerging. In addition, BREEZE will soon be represented at additional locations worldwide. With a strong partner at our side, we will be able to expand our presence more quickly – this serves growth for and with our customers. We will take care of strengthening the team to be able to implement the planned course. We look forward to this perspective, where the slogan ‘global presence – local touch’ will remain an important part of our DNA.”
