Five New MAN Trucks ordered by Wagenborg Nedlift

Last week, Gerard Bastiaansen, general manager of Wagenborg Nedlift, put the official signature to the previously agreed order for delivery of no less than five new MAN heavy haulage trucks. It concerns the new model of the MAN TGX 6×4. Nedlift has been using four trucks of the previous type to its full satisfaction since 2019. It is therefore logical that the MAN TGX 6×4 has again been selected to expand the fleet.

The MAN TGX 26.580 6×4 BL SA is a powerhouse from the king class.  The heavy haulage truck is equipped with a 15.2-litre D38 engine with an output of 427 kW (580 hp) and torque of 2900 Nm. This makes them ideally suitable for challenging transports of heavy loads over long distances.

Efficiency, a high degree of reliability, maximum payload and excellent driving comfort characterise the MAN TGX. The trucks are a great addition to Wagenborg Nedlift’s fleet. Among other things, they are used to transport counterweight for the heavy-duty cranes.

Sustainability has been an essential cornerstone in Wagenborg Nedlift’s strategy for years. These new MAN trucks are equipped with cleaner Euro 6 engines. As a result, they are equipped with the latest technology in the field of sustainability. The MAN Tipmatic automatic transmission also ensures that they are more economical in use compared to the trucks in our fleet they will replace.

The new trucks are expected to be put into service around May 2023.
