Final Acceptance by Heerema of their New Cometto 8-axle shipyard transporter in Italy

In late February, representatives from our Dutch customer Heerema visited Cometto in Italy.
“The reason for the visit was the final acceptance of their new 8-axle shipyard transporter for shipyard tasks,” reports Cometto Sales Manager Joachim Kolb about the meeting. “And as you would expect, the vehicle passed this final hurdle without any further comments from the customer.”
The transporter, with its impressive dimensions of 6m wide and 22m long and a payload of 496t, will be moving offshore components at the Heerema Fabrication Group plant in Nieuwdorp, Vlissingen, in the near future.
