A woman using a scissor lift has died, following a crushing incident on a site in Columbia, North Carolina.
The woman, Diane Smith, 49, was using the scissor lift on an internal job, when she became trapped between the ceiling and the lift’s guardrails. She was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
