As part of their expansion in the USA, ALE has set up a permanent branch by moving offices to the Houston.
ALE has completed the lifting of a flare stack, weighing 56t, in Iraq.
The final weight of the flare stack was more than expected and exceeded the capacity of the client’s crane. ALE was asked to mobilise its 600t capacity crawler crane quickly and at short notice.
ALE lifted the flare stack, measuring 56m long with a diameter of 2.6m, using its crane with a 72m main boom.
The client supplied a 275t capacity crawler crane that was used as a tailing crane in order to complete the erection of the flare stack.
ALE’s rapid mobilisation was key to ensuring there was minimum impact on the client’s lifting schedule.
