Fagioli Photographs of 260t Transformer Transport to Venice – Gallery

Fagioli has provided photographs of a demanding heavy road transport of a transformer headed to Venice.

They used 2x 15 axle lines modular trailers provided with ‘Schnabel’ structure for this operation.

The long convoy compelled Fagioli to perform some real challenging maneuvers in order to bypass the several obstacles along the trip.

The word ‘Schnabel’ is from German Tragschnabelwagen, meaning “carrying-beak-wagon”, because of the usually tapered shape of the lifting arms, resembling a bird’s beak.
