David Camperi to take on Business and Sales for Demag in Italy
Tadano is pleased to announce that Davide Camperi has joined Tadano to lead Demag business and sales and service efforts for the Italian market. In his new position of Business Leader – Italy, Camperi is charged with developing Italian market opportunities, leading the Italy-based Tadano Demag team and managing integration efforts of the Demag business into the Tadano product offering in Italy.
“This is just one more step Tadano is taking to harmonize our organization after the Demag acquisition, as we continue to develop synergies and work together to become stronger for our customers as One Tadano,” says Thomas Schramm, VP Sales and Product Support, EMEAR, for Tadano. “We are happy to have Davide in place to lead our great sales and support teams in Italy.”
Camperi has an industrial electronic educational background and, for the last 13 years, has held several key positions with the Manitowoc Company within the mobile cranes business. For a decade, he managed sales and product management efforts in South Europe after having had significant experience on the operations side. As Tadano’s new business leader for Italy, Camperi currently has responsibility for Demag products.
“I see tremendous potential for Tadano to serve our customers in Italy, as we offer a wide line of all terrain and crawler cranes and we can be the right partner that our customers are looking for,” comments Camperi. “It’s now a matter of developing synergies between the Tadano and Demag product lines and team members in order to support our customers’ lifting needs as One Tadano.”
Schramm concludes, “To be successful, we must have the right team in place with the right team lead, especially when working through an integration project as significant as the Demag effort. We have a strong and experienced team in Italy, and Davide is the right person with the right experience to lead the Italian Demag team to success.”
