DAKO Worldwide Transport GmbH Completes 190t Engine Delivery on Goldhofer Heavy-Duty-Module THP/SL

DAKO Worldwide Transport GmbH was tasked with transporting two massive diesel engines to a power plant in Gambia, West Africa from Europe. The dimensions of each engine were:
- Length 25m
- Width 35m
- Height 85m
- Weight 190t
The 6000km sea route was completed without any issues, but the final leg of the journey from the port to the construction site proved to be quite challenging.
Fortunately, DAKO Worldwide Transport GmbH was able to deploy a Goldhofer heavy-duty-module THP/SL, which has an axle load of up to 45t.
With their own lifting and pulling equipment they successfully transported the heavy components to the power plant’s foundations.
The teamwork that made this project possible was admirable and the partnership of DAKO Worldwide Transport GmbH with the Goldhofer heavy duty trailers is eagerly anticipated on their next endeavour!
