DAKO Worldwide Transport Delivers 36m Tanks from Turkey to Teesside

DAKO Worldwide Transport teams and their partners in Germany, Turkey, and the UK collaborated seamlessly to transport three massive Nitrogen Storage Tanks from Turkey to a CO2 liquefaction plant located in Teesside, UK.
The dimensions of each tank were:
- Length 36.50m
- Width 4.40m
- Height 4.60m
- weight 76t
This project presented several unique challenges. The size of the tanks required meticulous planning and specialized equipment to handle them safely.
The pre-carriage route from the supplier’s workshop in Kayseri to the Port of Iskenderun involved navigating mountain roads with tight turns, demanding route-planning and then precise maneuvering to navigate successfully.
In partnership with Hareket, we successfully overcame these obstacles and ensured the cargo’s safe arrival at the port. From Iskenderun, the cargo was shipped as part of a charter to the POD.
Our trusted local partner Allelys then took over, carefully transporting the tanks to the job site.
