Wagenborg’s heavy lift mobile cranes are assisting the conversion of a ship into a gravel dredger at the Royal Niestern Sander Shipyard in Delfzijl, the Netherlands.
The MV Yed Prior was docked at the Royal Niestern Sander shipyard for conversion for several weeks.
The ship has been converted from a container ship to a gravel dredger for the Dutch aggregates and transport company, Spaansen. The sea trials of the YED PRIOR took place on 10 August. The necessary tests were carried out under beautiful weather conditions with a positive result.
