The core activities of Alatas Biglift are the transportation (including customs clearance) and installation of over-sized industrial cargoes in sectors ranging from power to desalination, petrochemical, refinery and gas. These activities generally comprise of greengrass projects, shutdowns, refurbishment, and de-bottlenecking, but can also include wider industrial and infrastructure projects as well.
Equipment owned and operated by ABL includes self-propelled modular trailers (SPMTs), hydraulic platform trailers, dollies, lowbeds, flatbeds, hydraulic cranes, truck and crawler cranes, gantries, strand jacks as well as jacking and sliding equipment. In short, Alatas Biglift can offer fully integrated transportation and installation solutions for an exceptionally wide range of cargoes.
ABL’s highly qualified manpower comprises of engineers, mechanics, trailer-men, salesmen, crane operators, surveyors, riggers, foremen, supervisors, heavy duty and escort drivers, as well as jacking and sliding crews.
Alatas Biglift is fully committed to the quality assurance and safety of all our projects, as well as nurturing and training our staff. Rigorous induction and practical hands on training is held every three months for all employees, covering the technical and operational aspects of relevant equipment and procedures. This training is done in addition to ABL’s strict compliance to safety and quality procedures of each individual client.
