Combilift supplies Straddle Carrier for Sif’s Maasvlakte manufacturing halls

Sif Group has received a Straddle Carrier from Combilift. The machine will be used for transporting heavy cans and cones through Sif’s manufacturing halls in Maasvlakte 2, Rotterdam.
The straddle carrier by Combilift will help Sif to lift and transport the cans and cones in a proper and safe way.
The straddle carrier can lift and transport cans and cones up to 15 meters in diameter and 150 Tons in weight. The tires of the straddle carrier reach up to 1.9 meters.
The straddle carrier was made in Monaghan, Ireland. It took 7 trucks to get the straddle carrier to the Netherlands and took Combilift two weeks to build this “the largest ever Combilift” on Sif’s site in Maasvlakte, Sif reports. Source: Sif Group Image: Sif LinkedIn
