Colonia Retrieve Train Stranded After Flood Disaster in Ahr Valley – Gallery

Colonia Speziafahrzeuge have now recovered a train that was stranded in the Ahr Valley flood disaster that occured in July last year

Their employees from project planning gave their experience and knowledge for the construction of the special support and transport equipment.

The three 27m sections of the train, weighing 50t, were lifted off the rails with two 160t mobile cranes and loaded onto heavy transport for removal by road.
