Colonia Lifts Bridge Sections in Sinzig after 2021 Flood Disaster

After the flood disaster in 2021 in North Rhine-Westphalia, COLONIA mobile cranes have been helping the Bögl construction company to restore the B9 in Sinzig.

Colonia used their 400t mobile crane with 140t ballast and guyed mast and their 500t mobile crane with 160t ballast.

A total of 12 prefabricated formwork beam sections parts were laid over the weekend. The Colonia mobile crane lifted the first four 400t beams in single lifts, the middle four beams were lifted with both cranes together in tandem lifts and the last four lifted by their 500t mobile crane in single lifts.
