Collett Wins Team of the Year Award at Motor Transport Awards Event in London

After the Motor Transport Awards held last Wednesday at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane, the Collett team headed home with an amazing new addition to their awards cabinet!
For over 30 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been seen as a benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers and other innovators, and every year since 1986 a who’s who of road transport has gathered together to celebrate the winners of the 20 awards.

The Collett team were delighted to be presented with the Team of the Year Award for our work on completing Willenhall, Cellarhead and Lovedean substation transformer projects within a four week period.

The judges said the project was extremely challenging, especially as these high-profile moves had attracted a lot of publicity and so the Team were under great pressure to deliver. One judge was especially impressed with the breadth of the service provided by Collett, while another said the Team had only one shot to get it right and they had “smashed it out of the park”.
