The nomination recognises Collett’s exceptional performance and expertise in a complex project involving the transportation of two 215t, 120MVA transformers from GE’s facility in Stafford to the Kintore Substation 25km in land from the port of Aberdeen in Scotland.
For more than 36 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been the benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers and innovators and celebrate outstanding accomplishments and innovation within the sector. Collett & Sons’ inclusion in the Team of the Year category highlights their exceptional teamwork, planning, and execution throughout the challenging project.
