Collett and Sons Selects Faymonville Equipment to Boost Their Fleet

Heavy transport and general haulage company Collett and Sons Ltd based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK, looks back on almost 100 years of company history. During this time, the company has developed into one of the leading players in the field of heavy and abnormal transport.

Today the company employs over 150 people across four depots and runs a diverse fleet of trucks and trailers. Now, a trio consisting of three 3+5 dolly combinations by Faymonville has joined their fleet.

Faymonville FlexMAX is particularly suitable to transport self-supporting long material such as concrete beams.

Thanks to the adjustable steering system that autonomously follows the tractor, the Faymonville FlexMAX is particularly suitable to transport self-supporting long material such as concrete beams.

6-axle MultiMAX semi-trailers with hydraulic gooseneck and PA-X type PA-X

Additionally, they have strengthened their fleet with two 6-axle MultiMAX semi-trailers with hydraulic gooseneck and PA-X type PA-X. This technology makes it possible to get a minimum loading height of only 790 mm.

Combined with a double extendable loading platform up to a total length of 31,900 mm, Collett now has the perfect conditions to move a combination of heavy, bulky and long freights.
