Challenging Bridge Section Successfully Installed by Wagenborg Nedlift in Germany
The Wagenborg Nedlift lifting specialists have installed a new bridge section on the B226 in Wetter an der Ruhr, Germany.
The old bridge sections had already been removed earlier. Placing the new bridge section was an art, where not the weight but specifically the shape was the biggest challenge for the bridge team.
Due to the special shape of the bridge section, the anchor points were at different heights. With a sophisticated combination of lifting straps, chains and chain hoists, the lifting team placed the bridge section on to the precise position of the anchor points.
All credit to the Nedlift’s skilled operators on site and appreciation of the excellent cooperation between Nedlift and their customer.
