CDWE Completes First Offshore Installation Campaign on Hai Long Offshore Wind Project

CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering, CDWE, are proud to share the news of the completion of the first offshore installation campaign for the the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project, deploying  their DP3 heavy lift vessel Green Jade.

The first CDWE campaign consisted of:

• all jacket foundations installation
• the offshore substation (OSS) at Hai Long 2 installation
• foundation of the Hai Long 3 OSS installation

The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project held a blessing ceremony in April this year, officially announcing the launch of offshore construction.

Working in challenging water depths between 35-55m and distances of 45-55km offshore, Green Jade has impressively installed:

• 111 pin piles
• 37 jacket foundations
• 2 OSS jacket foundations
• 1 OSS topside

These accomplishments cover a significant part of the 73 turbine locations for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project.
