Cadeler Signs Letter of Intent with Undisclosed Blue Chip Client for O-class vessel on Long Term contract

Cadeler has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) exploring the possibility of utilizing one of Cadeler’s two O-class vessels on a new and significant long-term contract. The LoI covers offshore wind farm assignments taking place in the Northern European and US waters.
The projects covered by the potential new contract will be executed by the O-class wind installation vessel (WIV) after it has undergone a large crane upgrade. The new main crane will have a lifting capacity of 1,600t at a radius of 40m and a hook height of 160m above the main deck.
Both O class vessels are scheduled to be ready with the crane upgrade by the beginning of 2024 .
