Bronzeshield Crane Hire Take Delivery of New Grove GMK 5150XL
As from 1 March the new Grove GMK5150XL has been available from the Bronzeshield Lifting Ltd fleet. Based in Crayford, Kent, inside the M25, Bronzeshield are only 5 minutes away from the southern access to the Dartford Thames crossing.
Bronzeshield offers a wide range of cranes, All Terrain, City Class Cranes and Mobile Tower Cranes, with lift capacities ranging from 40t to 500t.
Their new crane’s 7-section, MEGAFORM® boom has one of the longest main booms for a 150t crane at almost 69m. Its load charts in taxi configuration are best-in-class, ensuring easy roadability and transport savings.
Taxi configurations start from just 1t of counterweight and for configurations of 12t per axle, the GMK5150XL can carry up to 10.2t of counterweight. There is also a heavyweight counterweight configuration of 16.5t per axle, which makes it possible to drive the crane with an outstanding 30.9t of counterweight on board.
