BMS Launch the World’s Largest Electric Crane

On Friday 29 September BMS inaugurated the world’s largest electric crane, a ring crane, in Østerild test center, Denmark.

Facts about the crane:

• The crane can lift 1,200t to a height of 225m
• it has 4,500t of ballast mounted
• the maximum lift 3,000t
• The flag is 300m² …

• 

  and is Denmark’s largest Dannebrog

The crane has been been designed and developed in collaboration between Dutch company Huisman and the BMS Heavy Cranes to  lift wind large turbine components.
