Blue Water Shipping’s Key Role with Jackup Noble Resolve Arrival in Polish Waters – Video

Blue Water’s team in Poland has played a key role as Ship Agent for Noble Corporation and their jackup Noble Resolve, a 70m offshore drilling rig. The platform will start drilling for hydrocarbons on behalf of Central European Petroleum.

After seven months of intensive preparation, working closely with the Polish authorities, Noble Corporation, charterers and subcontractors, the challenging operation has been successfully executed, and the rig has begun the contract.  The Noble Resolve platform, a jack-up rig without its own propulsion, was towed by three tugs from Denmark to Polish waters. On arrival, several units were ready to position the platform. The process of installing the legs and lifting the rig took about a day.
