Blue Water Completes Third Project with Yinson Production – Video

Blue Water has completed the third project with Yinson Production, showcasing confidence in Blue Water’s technical expertise and local knowledge, with the local team in Singapore heavily involved. The project involved the transportation of 15 topside modules for the AGOGO FPSO project.

Having previously managed complex shipments of key FPSO equipment such as pumps, compressors, genera-tors and breakbulk cargo, Yinson Production entrusted Blue Water with the challenging task of transporting 15 topside modules.

The largest module, an impressive 37m high and weighing 3300t was placed directly on the vessels’ pre-positioned grillages. These modules were transported across key routes, including Batam, Vietnam and China, where our team ensured seamless operations while offering competitive pricing.

This complex transport project is not without its challenges. Blue Water overcame technical challenges with their in-house technical engineering team and navigated operational constraints with the support of in-house port captains and specialised external operators to assist with port operations.

Through strong project management and bringing together diverse teams with different objectives, Blue Water ensured alignment towards a common goal: the safe, efficient and on-time delivery of the modules. They facilitated smooth coordination between stakeholders: Yinson Production, Azule Energy (ENI), EPC yard, vessel operators and suppliers.

Their role extended beyond logistics, helping to align shipyard schedules, customer expectations and stringent HSSEQ, quality and marine warranty standards. Their proactive involvement simplified communication, minimised coordination burdens and streamlined operations between all key stakeholders.
