BigLift Shipping to Benefit from Hansa Heavy Lift Demise
After days of speculation it has been confirmed that five Hansa Heavy Lift vessels will be bought by the Dutch Spliethoff Group.
Four of the vessels will join the Spliethoff fleet H Class. The 300t lift crane capacity vessels, HHL Elbe and HHL Tyneto will become the Hudsongracht and Humbergracht, and the HHL Amur and HHL Mississippito with a 360t crane lift will become the Heerengracht and Houtmangracht.
The remaining fifth vessel, the HHL New York, 20,100t DWT, will join the BigLift fleet as the Prinsengracht . This vessel is equipped with three NMF cranes, two with a 400t lift and a combined crane capacity of 800 tonnes, and one 180t crane. Ub
