BAE Systems Selects 156 Axle Lines of the MSPE Evo3 series from COMETTO Propelled to the MAX

For its site in Jacksonville, Florida, the well-known international company BAE Systems is building up its transport fleet with an impressive amount of 156 axle lines MSPE SPMTs from COMETTO Propelled to the MAX to be used during the construction process of various types of vessels.

A BAE Systems team visited the Cometto facility in Cuneo for the first acceptance test of the first batch of modules. BAE Systems has opted for the MSPE Evo3 series – the strongest on the market offering 70 tons payload per axle line.

Thanks to the patented pendulum suspension and the Cometto tubeless tyre design, it is possible to drive heaviest loads under hardest conditions. Additionally, five Power Pack Units with a performance of 368 kW each and dedicated accessories complete the package.

It’s always a pleasure for Cometto to collaborate with future-oriented and ambitious partners. Their SPMT system is a reliable and proven key element to reach the highest levels in, among others, the naval sector.
