An Unusual Operation for Cochez SA

This operation was not really extraordinary, there was no large heavy lift crane, no heavy load, but it was still an unusual operation.

Crane hire company Cochez SA based near Paris in Emerainville, had been given the task to remove all the pipes, ladders and access bridges inside a well with a depth of 20m and 3m in diameter.

The work was to be carried out without scaffolding or lowering a gondola down the well.

After studying all the possibilities an eventual plan was ready to be put into practice. The removal of all the pipes, ladder and other attachments in the well would be dismantled and removed one by one, removing the ladder, which would be used for access, last of all.
