One of the reels measured 7.2m x 5m x 5.1m, weighing 358 tonnes. The other weighing just over 114 tonnes, measering 4.2m x 3.5m x 3.6m

ALS (Abnormal Load Services) is coordinating the delivery of two large cable reels to China.

ALS is coordinating the delivery of two large cable two to China, with combined efforts from ALS’ UK, Netherlands and Italy brances. ALS Netherlands autohorised a suitable geared vessel with ALS Italia in attendance for the loading of the reels, which were collected from Porto Trieste Quay, Italy, for onward delivery to Qingdao, China. 

The final delivery is expected end of October 2018.
