Allcargo delivers transformers for Israeli National Railway

Freight specialist Allcargo Logistics has delivered a shipment of seven transformers for the Israeli National Railway. 

The breakbulk consignment involved lifting and transport of five 55-tonne transformers and two 44-tonne transformers in a single shipment. Allcargo’s team oversaw all custom clearance, loading, shipment and heavy-lift discharge. 

“Challenges included, survey and preperation of final placement site, offloading and placing the transformers in a very limited space,” a spokesperson for Allcargo said.
