Ainscough Crane Hire’s team working on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station project, have been shortlisted in the Best On-site Supplier category at the annual HPC Excellence Awards.
Ainscough has been working at the site for almost four years in which time its dedicated on-site team has delivered hundreds of lifts working for a range of Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
With an estimated construction cost of around £20 billion and an operational lifetime of 60 years, Hinkley Point C is one of the largest and most valuable energy infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the UK.
Adam Hodgkins, Commercial Lead at Hinkley Point C, said: “We are very proud to have been shortlisted for the award on this important project. The recognition is testament to the hard work and dedication of all of the staff who are involved in our work here including operators, appointed persons and the depot staff. Without these we wouldn’t be in the strong position we are on-site today.”
