Ainscough Crane Hire Joins Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Parade

Ainscough Crane Hire joined the rest of the country in getting into the   spirit by stepping in when a truck was needed for a parade in the firm’s hometown of Standish.

The Standish pageant saw a carnival procession proudly parade through the streets, with a vintage car show, a fun fair and food festival also taking place.

Organised by community charity My Life, the event was the first carnival parade to have taken place in Standish for more than 30 years, coinciding with the charity’s 10th anniversary.

Ainscough Industrial Services, owned by Ainscough Crane Hire founder Martin Ainscough, was the proud sponsor of the parade. When a call was placed in the run up to the event asking if we could provide a truck for use at the event, we were only too happy to assist.

The SCANIA S580 vehicle was driven on the day by Ainscough’s Jason Shepherd, and featured an array of flags, bunting and balloons.

Kayla Burley, transport manager, Ainscough Crane Hire, said: “We were very pleased to show our support for this fantastic event by lending one of our vehicles. It was a brilliant day that celebrated everything that is great about both Standish and the whole country.”
