A Beautiful Lift by MJ van Riel in the Heart of Breda

There are times when a lifting project can be called a beautiful project. This can be because of the way the project was carried out or the area where the lift was made.

This lifting operation by MJ van Riel to replace an old transformer house in the centre of the historic town of Breda must surely qualify with both reasons.

Assisted by a 90t telescopic crane they set up their 400t telescopic crane on the beautiful Kasteelplein in the heart of Breda.

Deploying a luffing jib to be able to reach over the houses to the courtyard they removed the old transformer.

Once the old transformer was removed a new transformer was lifted in to replace it.

In close cooperation with the client, the street was closed early, and the residents were kindly asked to leave their homes temporarily during the work.
