The construction process of Boskalis’ 23,700 kW self-propelled cutter suction dredger HELIOS is captured in this impressive movie.

The outfitted hull was built in Croatia and arrived in Kinderdijk for further completion. The world’s heaviest cutter ladder was installed on 14 September 2016.

At the end of May 2017, the HELIOS returned from successful sea trials and the official handover took place Mid-June 2017.
